An orientation program for students newly enrolled in the Finance and Banking and Insurance programs for the 2025-2026 academic year was held on September 30, 2025.
The program, organized to support the academic, social, and cultural adaptation processes of new students, began with an opening speech by our School Director, Lecturer Dr. Ferdi YILDIRIM. The event also brought together Assistant Directors Lecturer Dr. Onur DOĞAN and Lecturer Dr. Murat AKSAR, Department Head Lecturer Dr. Sait PEKİN, first-year advisor Lecturer Dr. Melahat YEŞİLKAYA, and School Secretary Emin ÇOMAK with the students.
As part of the orientation training, students were provided with comprehensive information on the following topics:
The academic structure of the school and educational processes,
Student rights and responsibilities,
ECTS system (Bologna Information Package),
Student exchange programs,
Career planning and management,
Academic performance monitoring,
Add and drop procedures, extracurricular activities, required and elective courses, and cooperative education processes.
The program was successfully completed with the aim of helping students start their university life in a conscious and well-prepared manner and to prevent potential academic problems they may encounter.
